Walker obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Alabama State University in 2020. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015 in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Kinesiotherapy. Walker has experience in sports rehabilitation, post-op care, general orthopedic care, spine, and wellness experience. He also has experience in training athletes in football, basketball, baseball and softball, as well as worked with veterans in several VA hospitals as a Kinesiotherapist. Walker competed at the Junior College level at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi where he played Linebacker for two years.
While at the Alabama State University, Walker worked with Men’s and Women’s Basketball team to help determine the relationship between Lower Extremity injury and an athlete’s balance. This research was the base level of continual research on the topic
He is certified Dry Needling to help decrease pain and improve muscle function and is in the process of getting certified in various form of manual therapy techniques to better promote healing for all patients.
Walker enjoys spending time with his family, working out, playing golf, cooking and fishing! His goal is to help patient’s return to things that they do best, while also preventing future injury to all his patients.
